1965 Volkswagen Type 2 Single Cab Pickup

The single-cab body is finished in green with a white roof and bumpers. An under-bed storage compartment is accessible from the right side of the truck, and additional exterior details include a canvas bed canopy and hoops, a split front windshield, sliding side windows, H4 headlights, and rear mud flaps as well as a fold-down tailgate and bedsides. The bed is lined with wood strips and has been fitted with removable polished countertop material and rails previously used to hold potted flowers. The split front bench seat is trimmed in brown vinyl and is joined by a color-coordinated kick panel, door panels, and headliner.

Interior elements include a heel protector for the throttle pedal, sliding side windows, lap belts. The two-spoke steering wheel wears a Wolfsburg crest horn button and fronts an 80-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 91k miles. The replacement air-cooled flat-four utilizes a Brazilian-market (UF) engine case and is fed by a single downdraft carburetor.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle equipped with gear reduction boxes.
