This 1955 Volkswagen Beetle is a European market example that was refurbished under previous ownership and formerly owned by Jerry Seinfeld approximately eight years ago.

It is finished in light blue over medium blue vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 1,192cc air-cooled flat-four paired with a split-case four-speed manual transaxle. The two-spoke steering wheel wears a Wolfsburg crest horn button and frames an 80-mph speedometer that shows 37k miles on the five-digit mechanical odometer.

The replacement air-cooled 1,192cc flat-four is fed by a Solex downdraft carburetor topped with an oil bath air cleaner. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a split-case four-speed manual transaxle.
