Subaru Sambar vw Style Microbus Crame 1996
Microbus-Style 1996 Subaru Sambar 4WD
This 1996 Subaru Sambar is a Japanese-market kei van that was modified to resemble a Volkswagen Microbus. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 658cc inline-four that drives the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox, and features include a roof rack, headlight visors, Volkswagen badges, sliding rear doors, front disc brakes, silver-finished 15″ wheels, air conditioning, and a Pioneer Mixtrax multimedia stereo.
Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drum brakes out back. Appointments include air conditioning, crank windows, and a Pioneer Mixtrax multimedia stereo. The aftermarket steering wheel frames a 140-km/h speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The 658cc EN07F inline-four features electronic fuel injection and can be accessed through a removable panel in the rear cargo area. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox and a push-button four-wheel-drive system.
