VW Beetle Joly-Style 1967
This 1967 Volkswagen is a Brazilian-market Beetle that was modified in the style of a Jolly before being imported to the US. Wicker seats with wood plank flooring were installed by a previous owner and also included installing seat belts, a dashboard-mounted figurine, rubber floor mats, the front carpet kit, seat belts, and walnut dashboard trim. An ABS wiring loom wrap was also installed. A three-spoke steering wheel was installed and the fuel-level gauge was replaced.
The five-digit mechanical odometer on the 140-km/h speedometer shows 97k kilometers (~60k miles). The air-cooled 1.3L flat-four is fed by a single downdraft carburetor topped with an oil bath air cleaner and features body-color engine tins. The intake manifold heat riser tubes have been removed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission fitted with replacement outer gaskets.
